The Art Deco Welcome Center is South Florida’s most frequented visitor center, with nearly 120,000 annual visitors. Our Art Deco Museum presents up to two special exhibitions seasonally.
We’re looking for artists inspired by the nature, architecture, and beauty of Miami Beach and the surrounding areas – a key component of our mission to preserve, protect, and promote.
While local artists will receive priority, we invite artists from around the world to apply. Recent artists exhibitions have included African and Canadian art in addition to talented local artists.

The Programs Committee at MDPL continuously reviews applications for special exhibitions. We work on a rolling schedule and plan up to two years in advance. Exhibitions are generally considered for a minimum 3-month period.
