| Non-hosted Cocktails in Historic Places Join us for our monthly series (first Thursdays) of classic cocktails in grand architectural spaces. We meet each month at a different location for great conversation, fun drinks, and a brief history of the space. The MiMo (Miami Modern) style is characterized by outlandish porte-cocheres that welcome you into the lavishly appointed lobbies, with grand staircases and rich appointments of marble, mosaic tile, and polished aggregate, to make the average visitor feel like a movie star. We'll enjoy cocktails in the lobby bar of the Deauville Beach Resort, a MiMo classic designed by Melvin Grossman in 1957. |
