MDPL's guided tours are a great way to get a look at the National Register Historic District and other nearby architecture. Our tours are led by knowledgeable local architects, preservationists, and historians. All tours last approximately 90 minutes, and with the exception of the Bus and Duck tours, are walking tours. Note that times are subject to change, so please check when purchasing tickets. Tickets are available at the MDPL Tour Booth on 10th and Ocean Dr, and the Art Deco Welcome Center Gift Shop, during the following times:

Ocean Drive Tour
Get an introduction to the Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival, and Miami Modern (MiMo) styles found within the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. Explore hotels, restaurants, and other commercial structures with a visit to a number of interiors.

Underworld Tour
Explores the Art Deco District through the role of organized crime and other infamous acts of murder and mayhem.

Collins Park Tour
Explores the neighborhood around Collins Park, from the grand Collins Avenue hotels to MiMo apartment buildings to the Bass Museum. Tour departs from the lobby of the National Hotel, 1677 Collins Av.

Lincoln Road Tour
Learn about the early history of Miami Beach, when Carl Fisher's Lincoln Road was "the Fifth Avenue of the South." From a deserted mangrove swamp, Fisher cleared and dredged to create a fabulous winter playground, and Lincoln Road today tells the story of Fisher's dream. Tour departs from Starbucks, located at 420 Lincoln Rd (just west of Washington Av)

Bus Tour
Our Bus Tour offers a chance to see more of the Art Deco District from the comfort of a private motorcoach. The tour includes a couple of opportunities to leave the bus and explore the neighborhood on foot.

Duck Tour
Takes place in open-air vehicles that travel throughout Miami and Miami Beach on both land and water. (Duck Tours depart from Lincoln Road, between James and Washington Avenues.)
